family wine estate
Built at the end of the 18th century on the site of a Gallo-Roman settlement in the heart of the village of Malviès, Château Guilhem has always been surrounded by vines. It's here, in the Aude, near Carcassonne and facing the Pyrenees that we've been making our wines for 5 generations, on this unique terroir that is the Malepère, which we nurture in an eco-responsible way from the vine to the bottle.
The Estate
On clay and limestones slopes which are exposed south and southwest within the “Malepère massif” you would find our grapes varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
This so particular “terroir” under the Atlantic and Mediterranean sea influences taste the character of our wine, certified Organic.

Our spaces for professionals
Located in the heart of the Occitanie region, ideally close to the towns of Narbonne and Montpellier, and just an hour from Toulouse, our winegrowing estate offers reception rooms that were completely renovated in 2022. We have created spaces that combine old-world charm and comfort in a wine-growing environment to host all your events. Our function rooms are ideal for integration seminars, study days, CODIR, COMEX, meetings or general assemblies.

Our wine shop is open throughout the year and our team will happy to help you discover the whole list of our wines.
Whether or not you would like, a wine tasting or just information about wines that we make we are here to welcome. For instance, we sell red, white, rosé and sparkling wines, and different specialities. It’s also the starting point of our wine tour.
